About
Moomaw is my funny middle name, shortened to Moo, which allows me to wear a cow hat and lead the singing of the Moomaw Song.
My shows are humorous and energetic. Kids have fun laughing, singing and moving around. Older kids are amused by the StorySongs and are encouraged to sing along. Younger kids enjoy the playful movements and sounds.
My original StorySongs are enriched by amusing antics, lyrics and voices to engage kids and adults. Young kids get to jump in pretend puddles; wiggle, spin, jump and dance in imaginary pajamas; hop and jump with bunnies, kangaroos and frogs; and create a unique dance. Everyone gets to visit the Zany Zoo.
Some songs have Moomations (optional) - original, colorful animations displayed on monitors or screens to help kids understand the stories of the songs.

"We loved having Moomaw perform at our library, he put on a great show. He was particularly skilled at engaging the children and their families, and was unphased by the antics of our rowdy audience. The addition of his "Moomations" make his performances unique and add another layer of excitement for kids. We would love to have Moomaw back in the future." Katherine Hand, Director, Sunderland Public Library
"Guitarist singer-songwriter Moomaw was an articulate and engaging communicator, equipped with hats and wigs and stories galore. He entertained the children with a well-planned, changing variety of songs, sounds, and simulations. Everyone had a great time and our very energetic preschoolers were able to get their heebie-jeebies out with some dance and physical movement." Heather Dunfee Huntington Librarian
